I sure hope whoever bought these canvases loves them! I was asked to do an A&M and UT one, and I was honored to be asked to donate. What an incredible community for coming together to support each other.

Link Up for Liam
During September, I donated two canvases to a dinner/auction that a community put on in honor of Liam. Liam Webb is a carefree and happy 3 year old boy. Liam's parents, Christian and Carli, were given the news on April 11, 2013 that their little boy was suffering from a malignant brain tumor. A member of the Webb family's community reached out to me and asked me if I would donate any canvases for the auction. There is a Facebook page where you can receive updates on this little fighter, and I believe you can make a donation through the page as well. Here's the link to the Facebook page:

Boot Scootin' Boogie
Happy Monday!
So I have been painting these beauties for about a month now, and I have been spending a lot of time on them because there is so much detail involved in painting cowboy boots. Taylor and I talked a lot about what designs she might want included on her boots, and this is what the final product looks like:

Now a glance at what the boots look like from the side:
I hope y'all enjoyed reading about one of my many projects from this summer. Don't forget to follow @bkraftydesigns on Instagram to get another glance into all of the designs I have been working on lately. It's tons of fun! If you are curious about how to place an order for custom painted boots, shoot me an email at bkraftydesigns@yahoo.com.
Have a great week!

The boots have maroon, white, and a hint of turquoise in the detailing I did with my handy dandy paintbrush. What you can't see very well in the photos, much to my dismay, is the hint of sparkles and glitter I added on top of the maroon. It really looks great when the light hits that glitter! I also added a few rhinestones here and there to add a touch of glitz. It's always fun to have snazzy shoes- especially for game day!!
Let's take another look. Here's a picture of what these kicks look like from the front, back, and side!
(The front is my personal favorite!)
Now let's take a look at the back! Taylor wanted me to include her sorority, Kappa Kappa Gamma, onto her designs, so I painted "Kappa" in turquoise to match the detailing I painted. Another fun touch was adding tiny rhinestones to the "T" in the Texas A&M logo.![]() |

Gig 'em
Last week I delivered my first A&M cooler! I also got to send an A&M themed canvas to Amanda for a gift! There was a whole lot of maroon going on around here. It was really fun to decorate those two items! Let's take a look at what I created this time:
Hope y'all like them!

Boot Scootin' Boogie
Howdy, y'all!
So for whatever reason I have been painting tons of A&M stuff lately! It's been fun, but hopefully I'll have some more longhorn stuff soon- I feel like a traitor. Seriously my roommates have called me out on it already. I have a great group of friends who are there right now going though rush and stuff. Anyway, in my last post I talked about the cowboy boots I painted for Dani, so here they are. I did some maroon and white detailing with a hint or turquoise!

Fightin' Aggies
This week I had a few orders from friends at Texas A&M! I was inspired by a black and white canvas I saw on Pinterest with a bunch of cute things about A&M written on it. My friend Sarah is moving into her new apartment and has a color scheme of turquoise and coral (which I LOVE), and so she told me to do anything I wanted as long as I used those colors in them. So I just went with it! The picture above has all three of Sarah's pieces, but it also has one I made for myself! My roommate Payton liked the one I made for Sarah so much that I decided to make an Austin/UT version for our apartment. It turned out great!
I Instagrammed the first canvas for Sarah and one of my old camp friends Emily said she would love on in maroon, so this is what I made for her:
My mom was a big fan of this one, seeing whereas she is an Aggie herself. Emily is so awesome, and I was insanely excited when she asked me to make her one! I'm really happy that she likes it! I'm on an A&M streak right now. I even have some beautiful cowboy boots for Dani coming up in a minute.
Here's a close up of Sarah's canvas!
Thanks and HOOK EM...sorry, I had to.
