Christina Williams Designs

I had some special visitors not too long ago, but didn't have a chance to post pictures! My mom and grandma came to see me! We went to Sandra Bullock's restaurant called Bess Bistro, bought some Kendra Scott jewelry, hit Whole Foods, and got yummy coffee!
As you probably know by now -or if you are just now stumbling upon my blog and don't- I love making canvases for Christina Williams Designs! She is such a sweet, generous person, and her shop is ADORABLE. She just opened her own store, so everyone should go like her Facebook page for more info! Click HERE for the link.
This is her logo that I painted for her earlier this month.

Livestrong

my wonderful parents at the theta block party!

This weekend was our parents' weekend for Theta, and we also had our Theta Block Party. My parents were on their way when I walked outside of the SAC to see a HUGE Livestrong event setting up in front of Gregory Gym. There were tons of people lined up, and once I knew what was going on I knew I had to do it. They were hosting a run around campus! I love the company, the cause, and Lance Armstrong-despite all of the talk lately I still think he is a very inspirational athlete. I bought my dad a Livestrong band when he was diagnosed with cancer my junior year, and he always wears it. This thing was so cool. There were people videoing, taking photos...In fact, one of the photographers was taking pictures for Nike; if that's not awesome, I don't know what is. They set up an Instagram booth where if you put the hashtag "#jointhefight" in your caption, it would print out a mini sticker copy of your picture!

The Eyes of Texas are upon yOU..

So last week was simply WILD. We initially had our big/little paddles due for Theta on Thursday, so everyone was stressing about getting them done and making them look perfect! Luckily our new member director changed the due date for that to this Thursday!! (I'll upload my paddle I made for Grace as soon as the sees it!) The big thing for underclassmen do for Texas/OU weekend -especially freshmen- is cooler painting. I think I might have slept for 8 hours total last week slaving over these babies, but here is what all that hard work amounted to!

The OU game is our biggest event of the football season, and the boys ask dates to go with them. It's really a fun experience because you have the game AND the state fair! Since we didn't exactly do too well in the game, most of us went to the fair. It was AWESOME! Everything was packed, and I ran into literally so many people that there was no way it couldn't be fun.

^ My honorary little sisters Chloe and Paige! They are the sweetest girls I know. We went on some rides together at the fair!
^One of my favorite people in Theta!! I'm going to miss her next year!!

Big/little!

So this post may be a tad bit late, but last week we had BIG LITTLE REVEAL!!! My little is awesome, and her name is Grace! Her last name sounds like "salsa", so we were chips and salsa. I thought it was pretty creative. I painted her a canvas with her monogram on it, and this year since our initiation was so early, we are doing paddles later. I want hers to look really cute! I'm doing my roomie's paddle for her little, so when I'm done with them I'll post them on here. Also, I just got an order from a DZ at Iowa State for a Lilly themed one! So cool how people from different states have seen my blog. Oh the wonders of the internet!! Also..GET READY!!! I have been painting just a few coolers for Texas/OU, and as soon as I am done I will put them up. Oh yeah I almost forgot! It's gameday, y'all. Hook 'em, horns!

It's football time in Houston!

This weekend was so crazy! I got to go to the Houston Texans vs Tennessee Titans game with my roomie from last year Morgan and some of our friends! Her older brother plays for the Titans, so it was SOO cool to see him play! The Texans won, and we had such a great time. Here are a few pictures from this weekend!
