Proverbs 4:23

Hi out there to all of my readers! It's almost 7 am here, but no sunrise, yet! I guess it's safe to say that school has officially started. Though it seems like no one is really ready for it, it's here! I was asked to make this canvas for someone from Houston, and I absolutely love the verse she picked out. I know I pretty much love everything people ask me to do, but I love this one times three! I'll let you take a look at my canvas interpretation of the Bible verse Proverbs 4:23!

Though I had heard this verse many times before, I had never really gone in depth about it. I don't think I every really studied it, neither with a group nor on my own time. Because I liked it so much, I wanted to look up a few things about it. I found an article that says the "3 Reasons Why You Should Guard Your Heart" by Michael Hyatt. It was really good! It's a good read! Anyway- I seriously do LOVE this canvas, too. I told Nia that I want to keep both of the ones I made her! Can't wait for her to get them!

From Texas to Hawaii

Just a quick post to show you some more graduation canvases I made this month. It was been jam packed with these orders, and I couldn't be happier. I just got back from Hawaii and am a counselor at camp now. Going to be a great month! 

Just Bringing Art

A few weeks back a great friend of mine named Tory had me paint two canvases for her best friends' graduation gifts. It turns out that one of the girls loved her canvas (YAY!) so much that she wanted me to paint one for her boyfriend. He is in a band called Just Bringing Art, and she thought it would be cool if I painted their logo on a canvas. She's such a good girlfriend! I hope he loved it.

Wreck 'em, Tech!

My first Texas Tech delivery was this week! When Ana, one of my friends from high school, told me her roommate Anna was interested in buying a canvas from me I was soo excited. She wanted a Texas Tech double T for her place next year, and since I am the daughter of a Red Raider (and a very proud one I add) I knew I had to do this one perfectly! In my last post I had a picture of the canvas in action, but now I have one of the final product!

Anna sent it to me yesterday! You can't see the sides, but I wrote stuff like "Get your guns up!", "Wreck 'em, Tech",  and "Red Raiders" on the sides. Thank you Anna for sending me the picture! I love posting pictures of people with their canvases!

Because I just reached 4,000 views, I thought I would share some pictures from this month. You guys probably get tired of just seeing canvases on here. I'm trying to post more about the stories behind each one, so that's something neat y'all (and I) can look forward to. Dad's weekend!

Kaya! My little sista came to visit! She is the sweetest.

My old team came to visit this past week. My coach use to play football here, so we got to have a tour of the facilities and the stadium! We even got to go on the field! 

2500!!

WOW! I am speechless. We already reached 2500 views! Seriously guys, when I first started posting I never thought anyone outside my immediate family would want to look at my blog, but this is unreal! Thank you SO much for giving me motivation to keep going with the thing that makes me feel the most connected to the Lord and what makes my heart sing. This weekend is going to  be filled with fun designs: zebra print, crayon art, and some more sorority canvases! I can hardly wait. I thought this canvas is perfect for the occasion:

Sorority Love

It's been a while since I made any sorority artwork, so I was SO excited when my friend Hannah asked me to make her this adorable Alpha Delta Pi canvas! In case you can't tell from the photo, the letters are  covered in glitter..(which I LOVE)! My roommate is also an ADPi, and she wants me to make her one, too! I'll make sure to upload that one when I finish, too. I like to make each canvas have an element that are unique, so I added some dark blue detail to the crown! Love you Hannah! thanks for letting me make you this...I adore it.

I also made this Chi Omega canvas just for fun! I just love their colors together..especially the gold glitter. If you want it, let me know! 

2012!

HAPPY 2012 EVERYBODY!

Better eat some black eyed peas and celery. Hop on one foot and all that jazz because today is the first day of a new year! 2011brought a lot of surprises, so I can only imagine what 2012 has in store. After going by Christina Williams Designs yesterday, I have two more projects!  By the way...you should go check out her Facebook page! It's awesome. Here's the canvas that I finished today:
