Beyonce & Jay Z: On The Run Tour

I'm back y'all!

 After a few weeks away from blogging, I am back to share some of the things that happened during that time, one of which being the amazing - and I mean A M A Z I N G - Beyonce and Jay Z concert in Houston.

I went with two of my best friends from college, Kaitlin and Leslie, and we laughed, danced, and cried to our hearts' desire. Beyonce put on a flawless performance for her hometown, and we were all left stunned by her powerful performance. She has the ability to command a stadium sized crowd with just a look. Seriously, she did it. And when Beyonce told us to put our hands up, everyone put their hands up.

After the concert, we all decided that the whole experience just reaffirmed our love for Queen B, and we found ourselves asking each other "What Would Beyonce do??" Thus, leading to this little creation.

I decided to bring the words to life through watercolor. For some reason, the print is coming out discolored on my blog, but you can see it clean as day on my Etsy shop. Spoiler Alert! I also have this print available in an aqua blue, yellow, coral, and purple. Custom colors and quotes are available upon request.

TCU Lambda Chi Woodsie

Hey y'all! SO you may have seen this if you follow me on Instagram (@bkraftydesigns) this past week I painted a cooler for one of my friends who was headed up to TCU for a date party her boyfriend's fraternity was having. It's called "Woodsie", and it's a camping weekend event they do somewhere in Texas. She had the cutest ideas for a cooler, and she asked me to paint one for her. Here's the final product:

Bianca had the best idea to do a "cooler divided" since she and her boyfriend go to different schools. I loved the idea, and I think it really turned out great. It's something different that I haven't done before, so I was all for it. PS. The TCU mascot is a challenge to paint, and that's putting it nicely.

Getting really into the theme on this side; I really hope they had a campfire this weekend because it was freezing!

For the back she wanted different bottles of alcohol, so I modge podged different bottles on top of a Gastby-esque background I painted. I love the black and gold, and I think it was a good contrast to the different colors of bottles.

I hope that if you stumbled across my page, something inspires you! It's always hard to think of different ideas for coolers that haven't been done before, and sometimes you just need to see something to get your creative juices flowing. Texas bound!

 Happy Tuesday, everyone! I know graduation season is pretty much coming to an end, but I still would love to share these Texas inspired canvases I painted last week. One of my wonderful friends named John showed his mom my blog, and she asked me to paint these two canvases for her niece and a friend. The two canvases both have a little longhorn that I freehanded in the left corner. I've been working on that for a while, so I'm pretty proud of it! Let's get a closer look at each canvas:

 For Cara, I painted a soccer ball pattern because she will be playing soccer at UT next year! ! I really liked the concept, and I thought the burnt orange ("Persimmon" by Americana) detailing brought a fun element to the design.

Chevron has officially taken over as my most requested pattern! It has been neck and neck for a while, but I think chevron edged it out this week. For Caroline's canvas,  I did a fun chevron pattern with her name in a dainty script font- complete with another freehanded longhorn, of course!

How Great Thou Art

Happy Sunday, y'all! So today I'm sharing one of my latest canvases I did for Kathryn, another girl at UT! She ordered it from me for Mothers Day, and I thought that was so sweet. I don't think it's a secret that I LOVE this print, and I am always down to paint it. After I posted it on my Instagram account, one of my good friends from high school texted me saying that she made the picture the background on her phone. I was so honored! That sounds a little cheesy, but it really did make me smile (thank you Veronica!)

This weekend I went to see my friend Kaitlin, and her mom was so excited to learn about my painting hobby. Kaitlin has a dresser that she wants painted in a fun, colorful design, so I'm going to paint it for her! Watch out y'all. New product line coming through. Seriously though, I am going to have WAY too much fun with this.

Before I start, I'm doing this on my phone so the pictures won't be up until I get back to my laptop! Alright, it's no surprise that I am in love with my state. I just can't help it. I mean, Texas is a really awesome place to be! Luckily I'm not alone in this, and I got some orders from some of my fellow proud Texans. 

If you've never seen the show (or even the movie) Friday Night Lights, you're missing out. Whether you're into football or not, although after this show you will love football..trust me, you need to watch it. I promise you that you will fall in love with Coach Taylor, his awesome wife Tammy, the stories and relationships, and last but DEFINITELY not least, Tim Riggins. His famous line "Texas Forever" has inspired probably like thousands of hashtags, facebook albums, and tshirts...and it also inspired this canvas!

Before school started my dad surprised me and took my to the Dillon Panther field house. It's right outside of Austin! I almost passed out when I realized where we were. Anyway, here's a picture of the field house! I wanted to go on the field but the gate was locked and they had barbed wire around the face so I decided I better not test my luck. Just recently a Pinterest page called "Sorority Please" started pinning my canvases onto their craft board , and then there were hundred of repins! Then I got a notification that Ole Miss Panhellenic repinned a canvas, too. I couldn't believe it. How cool is that?! So many of my canvases were pinned from my blog and from my ETSY page as well. Business Cards!

My brother is AWESOME, and he got me business cards for Christmas! I got to help out a little with the designs, but they were made by Unleaded Communications in Houston. I am absolutely obsessed with them, and I gave my first one out yesterday to my roommate Payton! It feels so cool having them; it makes me feel excited about the possibilities ahead. Speaking of things ahead, I am donating some canvases to a philanthropy event at Grand Valley State University. It's a fundraiser for the Gilda's Club in Grand Rapids, MI! A Phi Sigma Sigma member named Rosemary sent me the SWEETEST message, and I can't wait to send some canvases her way to support the event! Grand Valley State has 8 sororities, so I am going to try to make one for each! They are:
